Check The Chlorine Level Every Day

Investing in a good pool testing kit is a must. As chlorine levels decrease algae and fungi are more likely to grow. These can be difficult to clean and neutralize, so be sure your chlorine is doing it's job.

If you keep your pool up during the winter, still monitor it. Even in winter bacteria and other pool enemies can creep in.

Vacuum Once a Week

The dirt brought in by people using the people can build up fast. This can cause pool staining and bring in more bacteria and such that can make your pool unsafe to swim in. That's why I recommend vacuuming at least once a week. It's quick and easy to do. If you're pool is used frequently, you may have to vacuum more than once a week.
