Above The Ground Swimming Pools Can Fit In Fine

The above the ground swimming pool is sometimes frowned upon as being a little of a second rate pool but there are some on the market that with a little local ingenuity can look absolutely superb when fully fitted and at a cost that is a fraction of the in ground style.

One of the best swimming pools is one that is a massive 33 feet by 18 feet long with a side depth of 52 inches, which gives the user a fantastic length, which is ideal for a decent swim in an ideal depth of water. This particular size has straight sides but semi-circular ends and is a steel frame with a blow moulded resin steel structure erected on a flat site with a great pool liner. The wall has no fewer than 13 protective layers sprayed on the steel wall system. The pool is a Do It Yourself type of system but there are no screws used in its assembly as it all slots together in an interlocking manner to form a great rigid swimming pool. The pool of course has all the usual filtration units and the chemical water treatment system and it will all cost less than £4,000 to buy and is easy to erect. Ideally the purchaser should invest in a heating system and a good cover but the overall expense is very low.

Having got a great pool one of the best systems is to make it easily accessible so that the people can get into the pool without ladders and this is the thing that will change the pool from a somewhat utilitarian looking structure into a first class pool that will grace any garden. Firstly pick a good sight not one where it will take the light from the house, the bottom of the garden would be an ideal place. Then erect a good decking around it that will allow poolside access, which is easy and straightforward, a sitting deck which can be at the same level but equally could be at half the height to give a staged level, which would be more aesthetically acceptable. Suitable planting around the structure would blend the pool nicely into the garden. In this way the swimming pool will look superb and whilst the decking will be an expense the total cost will be a fraction of that of the £30,000 plus it would cost for an in the ground one.
