In December 2003, the National Association of Realtors U.S. approved fact which is well known: the presence of the pool increases the value of the house. In the course of an association study found that having a pool can increase the value of the house by 8-15% depending on the amount and type of pool, its age and condition.

While the decision to build is very simple, the choice of shape, size and material can be really difficult because of the variety on the market pools. You can choose any pool, ranging from the classic rectangular pool and ending with a relief surface and complex forms. The choice is limited only by your imagination.

Types of pools
The main difference between pools is what materials are made bowl pool. There are several types each of which has its own advantages and disadvantages.

Prefabricated swimming pools.
The most inexpensive and easy to install design pool. Most aboveground pools are made of prefabricated parts ready to assemble a force of even a layman. In the first place to build such a pool leveled ground, poured concrete screed, then going to a metal (wood, plastic), the perimeter, which will support the outer wall of the pool. Then, a water supply (plumbing), the walls are covered with a rigid pool vinyl liner, prefabricated filled with water, the liner crushes and attached to the walls of the pool. As soon as the system will be installed feed and water filtration, swimming pool ready for use. The main disadvantage of such basins is their fragility. However, such pools easier to disassemble, that in certain circumstances is an advantage.

Pools of fiberglass plastic.
Monolithic pools of this type are made of plastic reinforced with glass fiber that is extruded to form the pool. Most manufacturers offer a variety of forms and colors for these pools. To install the pool is necessary to dig the foundation pit of the appropriate size, lay a water supply system and draw the area around the pool. Usually around the pool is being built concrete formwork.

Gunite concrete pools.
Equipment and construc pools of this type begins with the digging pit and laying water supply system. Then, using rebar is going to frame the future of the pool. The next step is to fill construction shotcrete, a mixture of sand and cement. Then the surface is polished, and after about a week (the time necessary for the final formation of a concrete structure) to a final grinding the concrete surface. The most common materials for grinding: a mixture of cement and marble chips, or special paint. Sometimes the concrete bowl additionally imposed a smooth layer (this may be a vinyl coating or fiberglass). Gunite concrete pools than the most susceptible to wear and are characterized by a variety of forms.

Pools of the laid concrete (flood)
In many ways, construction this type is similar to the construction of sprayed concrete pools, but much more difficult. Rather than fill the reinforcing mesh, concrete is poured into wooden molds.

"Swimming Pool"
Buried in the ground may seem hard, unyielding construction. In fact they are something like a boat - they can swim in the surrounding groundwater. If the pool is empty, the pressure of groundwater pushes the design of the pool to the surface. Therefore, these pools should be filled with water all year round - to stabilize the pressure of groundwater.

Most modern underground pools are hydrostatic valve on the water system, which protects the basin from the thicket of the pressure of groundwater. When this pressure is high, the valve opens and a portion of ground water enters the bowl basin, which balances the pressure.
