Four Things to Think About If You Are Considering Buying Pool Lounge Chairs

Do you have a pool? Chances are that if you do, then you live somewhere with a relatively long warm season, otherwise it just wouldn't be worth it. As a pool is a big investment, it makes no sense to pay so much for it and then skimp on the other things you need that make having a pool such a great experience. This includes heaters and pool furniture.

Presumably you won't be spending all of your time in your pool, and if you have an inground pool you would be grateful of the chance to hop out and sunbathe every once in a while. However, before you buy pool lounge chairs, there are some things you should know, so read on.

You may find that plastic chairs are more comfortable than wooden or metal poolside chairs, especially without cushions. You may also feel that without cushions, they are all uncomfortable. However, cushions and swimming don't generally go together, so you will want to pick the most comfortable for your own taste, so as not to ruin good cushions with pool water.

Naturally the metal and wooden pool lounge chairs will last longer than the plastic variety, but this does not mean they are the best choice. Plastic will be generally cheaper, so this may be a major factor for you, especially if you don't plan on using them that often.

Water damage

Having the furniture next to your pool will inevitably result in water coming in contact with them. For metal and wooden loungers, this could cause damage or rotting, whereas plastic would hold up better.

Of course you will have a choice between many companies, styles and colors, so take your time, shop around and find a good quality lounge chair that suits your pool.
