They will try to sell you everything from a concrete in ground pool that costs an arm and a leg to a fiberglass pool that is far less expensive. But, they will also hire their own crews and charge you great amounts of money because you'll expect it from the excavating they do to your land to the wiring for lighting and the filtering system. You will look at all the work that they put into your pool and actually expect a huge bill.

What if you slowed down and thought about it for a second? To get a hole dug in your yard that fits the specifications of your pool, you can pay one person a few hundred dollars and you can ask that person to make sure you have all the proper permits. This is isolating the work you need done and actually figuring out what exactly goes into it. You can also hire an electrician and get a better deal than a "Pool Installation Expert" who is going to find the electrician and overcharge you for all the work.

Now, you're starting to think about it aren't you? What would be so hard about doing it yourself? Sit down and design your pool. Visit a pool supplies store and look for everything you need. You'll find that things are much cheaper than you ever imagined. Now, all you need to know is how to install the pool by yourself.
