Taking a vacation to Sin City doesn't only mean staying in the nicest room, in the nicest hotel with the nicest casino...it also means finding a Las Vegas hotel with a great swimming pool. If you enjoy a great swim, (or poolside bars in particular) you'll find that a lavish hotel swimming pool could make your stay in Las Vegas even better. There are various Las Vegas hotels that offer great swimming pools, but it's all about what you're looking for. Do you want something calm and relaxing, or with lots of features, such as colorful night lights, loud music, good looking people and never ending drinks? Keep in mind what you're looking for in your Las Vegas hotel during your search for the best pools.

When looking at the various hotels, you can take virtual tours to get a closer look before you book your stay there. There are also several great websites that review hotel pools and provide you with an insider's guide to the hot spots. It's best to use sites that have posted reviews from people instead of writers and editors because they may have biased views.

A perennial top ranked favorite is The Bellagio Hotel & Casino pool. Heated during the winter and open all year round. Here, you'll find five pools with Mediterranean hand-carved stone features and four Jacuzzis. If you're looking for the party, you'll find it next to one of the smaller pools that is sectioned off for private parties. Also featured here is a wet bar, misting system, music system, cushioned lounge chairs and beverages.

If you're looking to stay off strip, check out the more laid back Red Rock Casino and Resort. Their Backyard Pool is spread across three acres! 19 private cabanas offer the best in luxury, complete with a misting fan, couch, chairs, a TV and refreshments. Of course, this is Vegas, so the Backyard Pool also offers swim-up gaming so you never miss a break in the action.

One of the most famous pool parties in Las Vegas, Rehab at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino takes place every Sunday and is certainly the place to see and be seen. The Hard Rock offers two pools complete with sandy beaches and shady palm trees for you to really get relaxed. Of course, this is a rock and roll casino, so an underwater sound system allows you to enjoy the beats as you float along.

Just remember, when looking for a hotel in Las Vegas, you should look for accommodations and features that interest you the most. Las Vegas has so much to offer, as long as there is sun and fun, you're sure to have a great time!
