Marble has a sort of elegance which makes it first choice of the majority for foyers, dining rooms or any other room which needs a mix of class and sophistication . As marble is more porous than granite, it is more prone to stains. So not really the best choice for kitchen floors. The properties of marble change according to its color. Green and black marbles are not recommended for wet floors.
