Private Swimming Lessons.

If your child is serious about swimming and you want them to learn quickly then the best option for you is to search for private swimming lessons with a personal instructor. These can be particularly beneficial if your child is going to summer camp and needs to be able to swim, or maybe if you are planning a big beach holiday. It doesnâEUR(TM)t matter which methods you try, use friends pools or practicing movements in the bath, eventually you will realise that the best way for your child to learn quickly and naturally is with a qualified instructor.

You may be tempted to sign your child up for group lessons, while these are cheaper they do not actually give the better deal. You may find one or two classes with a small number of children in them but the vast majority have at least 7. 30 minutes with 7 children and 1 instructor means not a lot of time for individual help. Your child is likely to not get the attention they need and it is much easier to fall behind the rest of the class or find that you are ahead of the pack and are being held back.

When you look at private tuition, although the price is more your child is getting 100% of the time and attention of a fully qualified instructor. They will be able to focus completely on your childâEUR(TM)s strengths and weaknesses and tailor lessons to suit them. The teacher can set regular goals for your child and they will feel increasingly confident and happy with each one they hit.

This way also gives you the freedom to choose which discipline you would like your child to be schooled in, whether it be aquatic or synchronised, water polo or diving. The teacher will be able to tell you if your child has a particular area in which they show more talent and set the lessons to fit this.

Personal teachers donâEUR(TM)t just have to work with one child, if you have three children who all want to learn then they can be taught together at the same time. This has proven to be a great bonding session for siblings and makes swimming a sociable and fun experience.
Take some time to think through your options before deciding on private tuition, it isnâEUR(TM)t for every child, some children enjoy being surrounded by others and learn better in a group.
