Racism in America, Liberal Style

It's too bad and very sad that the Black power structure in this country does not have people like Walter E. Williams, Ward Connerly, Thomas Sowell, and, my personal favorite, "the Black Avenger," Ken Hamblin, in leadership positions and as media darlings.

Instead, much to its detriment, it has the likes of Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, and various Black congressional hacks, charlatans, and crooks at the helm, all of whom wallow in and profit from racial divisiveness which keeps them in power and which keeps their pockets stuffed.

President Obama's pockets have been sufficiently stuffed with his racially-motivated book deals as well as by his taxpayer-funded trips all over the planet for his family.

We're told he pays for the family. We're also told the Tooth Fairy pays a buck each nowadays for baby teeth and that Obama's Kenyan half-brother is positively ecstatic living in his hovel in Kenya where he subsists on less than a dollar a month.

I imagine he would give an eye tooth for a tooth-dollar.

Obama's thinking must be that his half-bro would probably stroke out if he got a generous gift from his millionaire American relative to keep him above water and above eating the bark off trees.

However, I digress.

In an article redundantly titled, "Vicious Academic Liberals," Professor Walter E. Williams concludes with, "Hypocrisy is part and parcel of the liberal academic elite," another obvious redundancy.

The scholarly, conservative, entertaining, Black professor of economics at George Mason University has surely been aware of that hypocrisy for many years but it was brought to mind by another article by an equally scholarly, and conservative Black, Ward Connerly

Connerly, a former University of California Regent, best known for his opposition to affirmative action, had had a conversation with an administrator at UC who told Connerly he would deny the content of their talk should Connerly ever publicize it.

He did make it public while not disclosing the identity of the official and it's evident why the official would not want what he said made available for public consumption and consideration.

It was blatantly racist even if said official believed with his PC mindset that he was merely acting within the current mainstream of contemporary American thought.

Streams, creeks, rivers and mainstreams can become very tempestuous during storms and there is no other tempest more potentially violent than racial relations in America today, notwithstanding the election of Barack Hussein Obama as our president.

If anything, his election has roiled the waters more than any election has done in many generations, and not only because he is sort of Black but because he is a hypocrite for not forcefully and unequivocally denouncing Black racism.

In essence, the UC official conceded that UC actively discriminates on the basis of color but for a very good reason, he felt, namely that the UC system would be overrun with those Asians if it did not practice discrimination. And we all know what that bunch does!

It would be unacceptable, said the administrator, because Asian students are, well, "too dull-they study, study, study:" [http://www.cnsnews.com/public/content/article.aspx?RsrcID=49982].

The clear implication was that the various campuses of the University of California would lose too much of their excitement- the sports, the clubs, the entertainment, the partying, the hooking up, the drugs, the beer, and booze-if dullard Asian-American scholars dominated the schools more than they already do.

California's population is 13% Asian and the university population includes 40% who are of Asian background. So, what to do? Instead of working to raise standards and working to qualify more minorities, UC plans to change its merit-based entry policy in favor of some undisclosed system designed to increase the oft-heard buzz word, the requisite "diversity."

UC's new entrance standards won't be much different from the bias of the private, predominantly White Valley Club swimming pool in suburban Pennsylvania. The powers that be at the Valley Club felt the sudden influx of Black kids into their pool "fundamentally changed the atmosphere" at the pool: http://www.boston.com/news/nation/articles/2009/07/10/bias_charges_fly_after_trip_to_pa_pool/.

No doubt it did, much like the infusion of too many Asians were changing the atmosphere at the University of California. The chief difference is that the Valley Club is a totally private group entitled to establish its own rules whereas UC is a public institution supported by taxpayer monies, from Black, White and Asian Americans.

A private swimming pool is just a private swimming pool. A public university is supposed to swing open its doors to qualified candidates, not pick and choose students according to the subjective whims of narrow-minded, biased administrators.

I understand the thinking of that UC official. After all, what's a college without its raison detre, the bongs and beer blasts and bed hopping? Dull, that's what, the UC administrator more than implied.

Tongue in cheek, Professor Williams counters with the facetious suggestion that basketball nets be lowered and slam dunks be outlawed to accommodate shorter White players in the game and achieve some diversity in that sport where 80% of the professionals are Black.

What the University of California really needs is greater administrative diversity-in the people in charge of administering its policies to eliminate officials like that racist boob!

Whatever happened to judging people by the content of their character rather than by the color of their skin?

Oops, I forgot. MLK precepts don't apply when it comes to righting the ship, levelling the playing field, and effecting diversity and to hell with true equity and equality.

I wonder how many of America's minorities have ever thought about the import for them of Howard Beale's scream in Network that he was fed up and wasn't going to take it anymore: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dib2-HBsF08.

Intelligent Whites are very fed up with all this crap going on.

I also wonder how long it will take for Americans, Black, White, and Asian, to wise up and smell the reality that a minority is now in power and is exacting recompense for ancient discrimination.

Can financial reparations be far behind?
